Career in motion

2010 - 2017

I cracked one of the toughest exams in India, ranking AIR 12 for the UPSC NDA examination in 2010. I underwent rigorous military training at the prestigious National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, but had to drop out in October 2012 due to medical reasons. 🙁

I restarted my educational journey with an undergrad in Information Technology from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, where the IT department awarded me the "Best Overall Performer" for the Batch of 2016.
After graduating, I tried my hand at joining PSUs in India. I failed for a year, but I completely learned the fundamentals of digital marketing in the process.

Digital Salvation

2017 - 2018 (1 year 4 months)

I launched a digital marketing agency in Lucknow. We worked with 12 clients and onboarded 4 enterprise clients for long-term retainer services.

This experience was digital marketing in absolute action. From Creative Cloud to WordPress, I befriended every digital tool in existence that could help me create a brand. I ultimately failed at scaling the clients, and because of that, I shut down the shop in mid-2018.

Sun King- Greenlight Planet

2018 - 2020 ( 2 years 3 months)

I switched to corporate, joining Sun King in Mumbai to help electrify the world through its solar products. I grabbed the opportunity to be the digital voice of the brand and built active sales streams using digital channels:

- Built the e-commerce channels from scratch for the brand across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the Philippines.

- Built a highly successful B2B2C solar sales channel through Meta in Papua New Guinea.

- Led multiple high-impact brand campaigns across India, Myanmar, PNG, and several African countries to scale global brand awareness.

When COVID hit, I moved back to my hometown and realized it was time to move on to the next challenge.

Action Against Hunger

2020 - 2021 (8 months)

I switched to Action Against Hunger, a global non-profit fighting hunger and malnutrition.

I helped them build rapid crowdfunding streams through Meta Ads, navigating the highly restricted Special Ads category, and closed key partnerships with brands for a cause. I did this for a short stint.

MPOWER Financing

2021 - present ( 5 years 3 months)

The timing with the non-profit was tough as COVID blocked international funds, and I lacked room for growth in that space. So, I moved to MPOWER Financing, a US-based fintech helping international students access funding for higher education.

I took things to the next level at MPOWER. I took complete ownership of the referral program and fundamentally changed the way referral architecture worked. The impact? Over $269M in funded loans in a span of 4 years, all driven at an incredibly efficient CAC.

I have earned two rapid promotions under my belt and currently lead a team of 2 Senior Analysts, actively automating every possible operational task through modern AI tools.

Fatherhood arrived in 2025, and my life and priorities have completely changed ever since; definitely for the better! Now, I am at a crossroads, looking for my next big leap ahead.
